Spanish night in Jazz San Javier with the concerts of Ximo Tebar with his new album "Soleo", and Sole Giménez with Antonio Carmona as special guest

Jazz San Javier begins its 20th edition with a double Spanish presence.

Valencian guitarist Ximo Tebar will offer the first concert of the night, accompanied by his own band, with which he will present his latest album "Soleo", which sums up 25 years of career.

The singer and singer Sole Giménez returns to Jazz San Javier with their brand new album "Los hombre sensibles", in which Antonio Carmona, who will be his guest artist, participate in a magical night with a remembrance included the singer-songwriter and Composer Manolo Tena.

Ximo Tebar, who gave the first concert of the 1st edition of the International Jazz Festival of San Javier 20 years ago, returns once again to the Festival to present his latest album, "Soleo", with which he celebrates the 25th anniversary of his celebrated "They are Mediterranean" (Wea 1992).

In his new work, Ximo Tebar delves into the fusion of sounds and genres such as flamenco and jazz with the Mediterranean aroma that has characterized the career of one of the most virtuoso jazz guitar players on the international stage.

Ximo Tebar brings together virtuosity, a passion for jazz and an insatiable research vocation that has led him to break limits and musical boundaries, creating his own characteristic sound always in the key of jazz.

Identified with the Mediterranean sounds, the Valencian musician and composer has walked from the avant-garde with albums like "Eclipse" (Omix 2006) to classicism with "Celebrating Erik Satie" in which he plays the French composer in contemporary jazz key.

Now it publishes its disc number 18, like a compendium of its race, recorded with musicians of the stature of the pianist Ricardo Belda.

In Jazz San Javier will be accompanied by his band, Carmen Rodríguez, the voice of the duo La Plata, as a guest of luxury, in a collaboration that is premiered in Spain.

Among the musicians of the very interesting Ximo Tebar Band are the spectacular American drummer Nathaniel Towsnley, the usual drummer of Alejandro Sanz on his international tours, and the American Darryl Hall, one of the most prestigious bass players of American musicians based in Europe, Cuban pianist Luis Guerra.

The second concert of the night will feature Sole Giménez, essential voice of contemporary Spanish music and an artist especially beloved in Jazz San Javier where he returns once again, accompanied on this occasion by Antonio Carmona, who was the voice of Ketama.

Antonio Carmona is one of the guests invited by Sole Giménez in his recent work "The Sensitive Men", an album of duos in which other guests such as Victor Manuel, Dani Martín, Pedro Guerra and Carlos Gońi are among others.

In her concert at Jazz San Javier, which will be accompanied, among others, by the prestigious Cuban pianist Iván "Melón" Lewis, Sole Giménez will present her latest work and will offer along with Antonio Carmona, who has just broken a long recording silence with The album "Obras Son Amores", a special program with memory including his colleague Manolo Tena, the great singer and composer, author of themes such as "Spanish Blood" or "The lies of the wind", among many others, with which Both coincided in the recording of the television program "A mi manera".
