Jazz San Javier presents a night of giants with Lee Ritenour and Dave Grusin, preceded by New York singer and guitarist Allan Harris and his Trio

New York singer / guitarist / songwriter Allan Harris, one of the most versatile jazz artists and contemporary blues, will offer the first of two one-night concerts that will wipe out two jazz giants, guitarist Lee Ritenour and Pianist and composer Dave Grusin, author, among many others, of the soundtracks of "The Graduate" and of "A place called Milagro", winner of an Oscar.

The multi-award-winning Allan Harris, arrives at Jazz San Javier after having published in 2016 "Nobody's Gonna Love You Better: Black Bar Jukebox Redux", the eleventh disc of his discography that includes his original songs, American songbook jewels, jazz classics And great versions like Jimi Hendrix.

Allan Harris stands out for a charismatic combination that brings together a great stage presence, the intensity of his voice and the enormous musical talent he has shown in festivals and settings around the world.

In Jazz San Javier will debut accompanied by his keyboardist always, Pascal Le Bouf on piano and Hammond B3, next to his habitual battery, Shirazette Tinnin, to which Paco Perera is added to the bass.

The second concert of the night stars two of the most representative musicians of contemporary jazz, guitarist and Californian composer Lee Ritenour, along with pianist, arranger and acclaimed composer of soundtracks Dave Grusin.

Together they will present the last disc of Lee Ritenour "A Twist of Rit" (Concord 2015), in which the genius of the guitar recovers and reinterpreta some of the subjects of his long race, recorded next to the own Dave Grusin, and other musicians of Height as drummer Dave Weckl and saxophonist Ernie Watts.
