The mayor of San Javier José Miguel Luengo and the general director of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification, Francisco Abril attended today the inauguration of a new establishment of the ALDI food chain in San Javier, which has 1,200 square meters of commercial area and 1,500 references, among which is its wide range of ecological products.
José Miguel Luengo thanked the director of expansion of the chain, Vicent Claramunt, his commitment to San Javier with a larger establishment than it already had, located next to the current on the avenue Aviación Española, and the creation of work in the municipality to to expand its usual workforce with four new workers.
The general director of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification, Francisco Abril, the mayor of San Javier and the responsible of expansion of the chain, Vicent Claramunt carried out a symbolic cut of tape in the inauguration of the commercial surface that coincided with the first day of opening to the public and attended by a good part of the municipal corporation.
Vicent Claramunt highlighted ALDI's commitment to the town of San Javier and expressed confidence that the new store will have a magnificent reception allowing its inhabitants to continue to have a good alternative when making their complete purchase.
The new establishment offers a wide range of products in the categories of food, drugstore, hygiene and bazaar, with a total of 1500 references, 200 of them organic products, and fresh regional products, along with own brands.
The reopening of ALDI in San Javier is part of the development plan of the German chain of origin in the Region of Murcia where it currently has 14 establishments.
