The Councilor for Health Catalina Perez today invited all the neighbors of the municipality to "empathize and collaborate" with the cause of the Association against Cancer of San Javier that next Sunday September 24 celebrates the V Solidarity March "Let's take a step against the Cancer "during the presentation of the charity event that took place this morning together with the president of the Association, Antonio Cerezuela, in the Plaza de España, San Javier.
Cerezuela recalled that the Solidarity March will begin with a concentration in the Plaza of Spain at 10 o'clock where dorsal and hats will be distributed and the glasses will be put on sale against breast cancer.
At 10:15 hours is scheduled for departure to the statue of the Pilgrim in Santiago de la Ribera where water will be distributed to undertake the way back to the Plaza of Spain in San Javier where there will be refreshments to ease the walk next to the draw of three bicycles.
Cerezuela thanked the City Council for the organization of this event that aims to raise funds to fight against cancer through various actions such as the 140 mammograms that have been carried out in San Javier and include a follow-up in Murcia in the cases that need it, as well as talks in the institutes, among many others.
The Association has been selling days, which can be purchased for five euros also on the day of the March before departure in the Plaza de España.
The Solidarity March is suitable for all types of public since it is a walk between San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera and back.
