Santiago de la Ribera has dismissed his carnival this afternoon with a massive parade in which more than 2000 people have participated in about 50 local comparsas and visitors.
Pending until the last moment of the weather due to the forecast of rain, which finally did not come true, the parade left at 5:00 p.m. with a shortened walk from the beginning of Barnuevo Avenue, crossing the Mar Menor avenue.
Several schools that have joined the carnival opened the parade that has also had dance schools such as Yaiza and Kebana.
The local troupes, representing all ages and a special presence of children escorted their Muses whose fantasies bring a special spectacular to the parade whose local presence closed the Carnival Queen and muse of the comparsa Rio, Judith Pastor.
The parade, followed by thousands of people along the route, ended with a farewell party at the carnival tent that hosted an intense program of events during the week.
The burning of the seahorse, symbol of the riverside carnival will put an end to this 30th edition of the Santiago de la Ribera carnival.
