The Municipal Library of San Javier has organized a workshop on reading and creative writing for children 5 to 10 years to be held every Tuesday and Thursday until August 13 next to last approximately 1 hour in a summer program includes other workshops, films, activities to encourage reading even childish, and even a party for students who prepared the selectivity in the Archives from the library to be held tomorrow, Friday, July 9 at the garden center.

The workshop has been called "the largest flower in the world" revolves around the story of the same name by José Saramago start reading activity which followed the viewing of a short children's film, and sentence construction game that can be short stories, ending with a picture of "the world's largest flower. The free workshop will be held in the Children's Room of the library of San Javier.

The workshop is part of the tribute that the library dedicated to the figure of José Saramago is part of the summer program, which includes the "Club of literary creation" that can assist anyone interested in the Chamber of Poets, the library, the first Friday of each month at 21:00 pm

At the workshop held at the initiative of the association AIKE Mar Menor and the Local Development Agency, will read works, will discuss writing techniques and literary styles, and proposing to write a text for reading at the next meeting .

The library has launched also the "Biblio-summer film" with screenings of films in Hall of Poets which began yesterday with "The Lord of the Flies," based on William Golding's novel of the same name.

The sessions are held periodically and announced in the library and the library website.

Also throughout the summer, the libraries of San Javier, San Javier and La Manga will "cast the summer story" with activities to encourage reading to children.
