The Festival de Jazz de San Javier brings Canned Heat and Dr. John on a magical night for lovers of Blues (13/07/2010)

The Festival de Jazz de San Javier spent Wednesday night with two great American music of recent decades, the legendary blues band, rock and boogie Canned Heat, who will star in the first concert of the night, to be followed by that of Dr. John, pianist, organist, singer and composer, heir and propagator of the genuine sound of New Orleans, his hometown.

Canned Heat was founded in 1965 in Los Angeles and after several lineup changes and a successful passage through festivals such as Monterey or Woodstock the band got the blessing of his idol, John Lee Hooker with whom he recorded the album "Hooker 'n'Heat "(Liberty, 1970).
