Independent City Group: "The PSOE in San Javier PGMO intends to adopt the Ex Mayor of San Javier, José Hernández" (04/10/2010)

In a meeting held October e1 with the Mayor of San Javier and to support his request to proceed with the approval of the General Management Plan of San Javier, the Independent Panel has said, leaving no room for doubt, will not with our political votes to proceed to validate the PGOM promoted by the former Mayor of San Javier and validated by the Municipal Architect Technical Report.

We do not understand, nor is it possible explanation, as the PSOE after more than three years at the City of San Javier and knowing, as does the rest of the public, the question of urban policy in San Javier, which carried court intervention, removing documentation municipal offices of planning and processing giving rise to the Municipal Architect in "Operation Valhalla" and the opening of proceedings in January 2008 at the request of the Prosecutor in Court No 1 San Javier which led to the arrest of the former mayor for alleged crimes against the public administration in relation to illegal development, the PSOE intend now to continue with the approval of PGOM documents that were proposed by the previous government and the same team technician who is under judicial investigation.

We must remember that the PSOE mayor agreed to a Convention of Government to the independent candidacy of San Javier which gave this group the Department of Planning, the PSOE pact broke after five months in office to justify the break in the loss confidence of the Mayor of San Javier in our spokesperson and then Councillor for Town Planning and Environment, Arantxa Espeso, which at that time, among other actions, had departed the Municipal Architect of his duties in planning.

The Socialist Government of San Javier, have maintained throughout the term, in urban, a continuous line with the previous government, policy guidelines that have been deeply criticized by our group, to the point, to return the Municipal Architect D.

Miguel Botella skills in planning, allowing you to report issues that are under judicial investigation.

Can not understand what interests this government move to ask the support with our votes in the then pending final approval of a General Plan that should have been thoroughly reviewed respecting judicial investigation and the statement that the courts could do about it.

It is incomprehensible that the PSOE contempt in San Javier, have always shown to our positions of transparency and fairness regarding the treatment of urban issues in our town, knowing as you know, that was the basis of our political action in the opposition, the previous term and what motivated the significant electoral support received our training with the four councilors that the town of San Javier placed in the seat of the Corporation.

It is incomprehensible, or are there other reasons unknown to us, to the Socialists have not prepared a new General Urban Plan that may be beyond suspicion as it has always claimed the Independent Group and have the gall to ask for our support policy at a Plan General who was promoted and endorsed by former policy-makers and in the processing have continued speaking the same coaching staff.

In this session of the municipal groups of the City of San Javier the spokesman of the Independent Panel has made very clear our position against what we consider a real nonsense, and why not a scandal, the many who we have come the Socialist government of San Javier.

Our group has always stood for other modes and other more transparent and more committed to the citizens in all public affairs, positions to which we are not willing to give up being consistent with what we promised in our manifesto.
