The book "8 / 40" published by the municipality of San Javier on the occasion of 40 anniversary of the International Festival of Theatre and Dance in San Javier continues to reap awards for design.
The festival director and Nacho Tárraga César Rodríguez de Santiago, director of Insignia Creative, responsible for designing the book signing the photographer Peter H, gathered last weekend in Madrid Anuaria Best Paper Award, given memory or editorial design by a panel of experts to the theatrical photography book published by the municipality of San Javier.
The award was presented at the Hall of Visual Communication and Graphic Design, being held these days in Madrid, in the framework of the XV edition of the Spanish Graphic Design Awards, Yearbook, involving companies, institutions, associations and professional design in Spain.
This is the second award for "8 / 40," which in March won a national award for best cover design in the seventh edition of Visual Design Awards Book, which provides graphic design magazine "Visual".
The book "8 / 40" was released to mark the 40th anniversary of the International Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance last year with images captured by photographer Peter H stage in the last eight editions of the Festival.
The design of the book refers to the photographic aesthetic terminology and concepts by playing with the shutter and aperture (8 / 40) on the cover referring to the 8 years of the 40 photographed it from existence.
Includes color photographs, which correspond to representations, and black and white for those taken in the trials.
All photographs are signed by Peter H.
and accompanied by texts of many of the actors and directors appearing in their pages.
