The new cadets of the AGA students become familiar with San Javier (03/11/2010)

The new students in the General Air Academy today have made traditional visit to San Javier where they were received by the mayor, Pepa García and part of the municipal corporation, in City Hall, before visiting the parish church, where unaccompanied by Colonel director of the AGA, Juan Antonio Ortega and Mayor Vazquez, Pepa García has made a wreath to the patron, St. Francis Xavier.

A total of 155 new students were of which 32 belong to the common body of Defense, recently incorporated into the life of the Academy where they remain until the end of the year.

The rest are students cadets, who according to their study plans will be two or four years of training in the municipality.

Among the cadets, French students are 4 and 4 U.S. exchange are invited by the AGA.

During the reception held in the auditorium of the council, the mayor, Pepa García stressed the "close relationship" between the Academy and the municipality and the high degree of collaboration between both institutions.

Colonel AGA director, Juan Antonio Ortega thanked the deal "in this land where we feel comfortable at home."

With an exchange of gifts between the two institutions concluded a formal reception at which the Mayor said "residents of San Javier" to new cadets, who followed his view with an offering to the patron, then by the municipal museum, the sports, the Almansa auditorium and park.
