San Javier has been with Yecla, Las Torres de Cotillas and Lorqui, one of the municipalities selected this year by the Department of Youth in the Region of Murcia to develop youth participation program "Nueve.es" aimed at students 3 rd ESO from a school in each locality.
In the case of San Javier the program, coordinated locally by the Department of Youth, has begun to function in IES Ruiz de Alda.
The program will last at least 3 years, aims to facilitate the relationship and participation among young people also must choose the type of activities they desire.
With the help of a mediator, will eventually manage their own activities program, funded solely through the regional program.
Have so far been enrolled in the program 65 students of 3 º ESO, which meet to determine what kind of activities, how, when and where they want to do to organize and carry them out.
At the moment some workshops have been held, arising from the afternoon of Friday, the day that currently meets the group to which you can follow new members joining at any time.
Also, different groups of municipalities in which the program develops "Nueve.e" joint activities and camping place for the kids quarterly participants have the opportunity to meet and exchange relationships.
