The mayor of San Javier Pepa Garcia has signed this morning a total of six cooperation agreements with professional and cultural associations of the municipality "in order to support them financially so they can further develop its activities for the benefit of all."
Pepa Garcia also recalled that a partnership is "very representative and cover a wide range of areas of society in our municipality."
The signatories of the conventions are COAG-IR, El Mirador, represented by Emilio Alfonso Martinez, the theater group "San Javier", by president Pepa Carrión, the coral "Santiago Apostol", Santiago de la Ribera, represented by Angelita Ballester, the coral "Stella Maris Bjök" of San Javier, Francisca Latorre by its president, the Association of Carnival in Santiago de la Ribera, José Carrión at the front, and Francisco García president of the Association for the Integration of Disabled Persons Mar Menor, Aideman.
The representatives of all associations of the collaboration agreement signed appreciated the support and financial assistance provided by the municipality, especially in the current economic times.
The mayor recalled "that although it is not large sums, the municipality has made a big effort to keep these agreements, in which we intend to contribute to keeping our associations from different fields working for our town, for many years" .
