The councilman of Culture Inmaculada García attended this morning to farewell ceremony of the course students Aideman Association for the integration of disabled people in the region of Mar Menor, held in the library where they have been witnessing over the past few months to participate in a special promotion of reading promoted by the municipal library, in collaboration with Aideman.
Aideman students in San Javier, had a show that began with the theatrical representation of different sketches that they selected, with the help of Jose Luis Valero monitors, and Inma Martinez Genoveva Gomez, the librarian Águeda Ros, coordinator Aideman activities from the library.
Students also participated Aideman center in San Pedro del Pinatar in the interpretation of several pieces of music by the choir of the center and a flamenco dance performance.
Wrapped for the rest of peers, instructors and families, participants in the show they parted with a gift handed to them Inmaculada García, in his first public act as councilman of Culture.
Inmaculada García, accompanied by the municipal library coordinator, Toni Diaz, congratulated the students for their performance, as well as downtown and the library Aideman for the work they do.
Garcia recalled that the library of San Javier "- + is a pioneer in the Region of Murcia in such programs to promote reading with children and young people" and pledged to continue working on this line, after showing his desire to the library remains an open center full of activity.
Aideman students, attending in two groups, one child and one adolescent and youth one day a week at a local library where they work reading at the theater and storytelling as a means of socialization and contact with the written text, said Agueda Ros.
Games around poetry and short texts complete work on this project that has obtained such good results.
