The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez Pastor this morning signed four cooperation agreements for this year between the city and various local groups "whose active collaboration contributes to the cultural, artistic and social de San Javier," Martinez said Pastor.
For that reason, today announced the continuation of this collaboration in 2012 "because we consider it essential care for these groups to invigorate the life of the municipality."
The agreements establish a partnership for 2011 of $ 3,000 for Coral "Santiago Apostol", which was represented by Angelita Ballester, and the same amount for the theater group "San Javier", represented by Leonor Benitez.
Instead, both institutions are committed to working with the City, each in his field of art, both in performances and activities related to their goals.
In the case of the commission of Carnival in Santiago de la Ribera, represented by its President, José Carrio, the municipal contribution will be € 18,000 and the Local Council of Youth, also represented by its president, Facundo Sanchez, the contribution will be 12,000 euros.
The Local Youth Council, whose purpose is to encourage participation and youth associations, is committed to consulting on municipal youth and the development of a range of activities within a global project aimed at young people, said Juan Martinez Pastor
