San Javier hosts 17 and 18 the Mar Menor IV Kitesurf Cruise sponsored by the city of San Javier, through the pattern Deportivo Municipal, and the Spanish Association of Kiteboarding (AEK), associated with Sailing Federation.
The event brings together hundreds of kite enthusiasts, will be based a year at Camping Mar Menor (airport road) from where will the journey across the Mar Menor from end to end to La Manga, ubriendo about 20 miles round trip return to be invested in about 55 minutes.
The Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo said the "relentless rise of the sport in the Mar Menor and has already gained importance in the event there is also a wealth of entertainment from which attendees can enjoy."
The most important event of the Kitesurf held in the Mar Menor is organized by the local raider Francisco Pardo "The Peel" and features the industry-wide support and collaboration of organizations and companies in the area.
The event aims to bring together fans and promote the kite, held in parallel with an extensive program of entertainment and an exhibition of new and material for the two days.
During the days 17 and 18 Camping Mar Menor area host numerous alternative activities planned especially in case of lack of wind, such as inflatables, mechanical bull, trampolines, elasticoboarding, bikes spinning, Xbox consoles, speaker, games and entertainment.
As exhibitors are collaborators F-One, Best, AZTK, Viajeskitesurf.com, + Kite, Ron Santa Cruz, Carshine, EVK (Kite School Valencia), San Javier PDM School, Aloha, North, Nautical, PMC, Naish, Tahe , Nostress, Coca Cola, AEK, Photos Michael, Hipersofá, Candies Fini, Agromediterránea, Prosurf, Pactuos, Hotel 525, and Brunotti Kiteloose.
On 2009 the test had 250 enrolled and in 2010 it was the 400 participants between riders and passengers.
The deadline for submissions is September 15th today and include Lycra, caps, and gifts from sponsors, food and drink for two days, and unique activities for both runners registered as companions.
