Dozens of children were able to make their own toys with recycled materials in the recycling workshop held at the Children's Day celebrations, organized by the Department of Environment.
Children served by the monitors of the company "Green Dwarf" and staff of the Department of Environment and found no apparent use of materials can be used to shape a new object, in this case a toy.
Councillor for Environment, Celia Martinez was pleased with the success of the workshop and explained that the objective of the project was to stimulate creativity and imagination of the smallest and yet affect their knowledge about recycling, and their awareness of the usefulness of separating the waste we generate at home.
After completing his toy, all children received a gift for their participation in the workshop.
