The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez and Vice Mayor, José Manuel Alart this morning presented the general budget of the City for 2012 amounting to 40,716,400.51 euros, 16 percent less than the year 2009, which has been extended until 2011, and amounted to 48,753,850.94 euros.

The new city budget "is conditioned by the economic crisis, the high existing debt from previous years, and declining revenue, said Mayor Juan Martinez, who described the municipal accounts of" austere and realistic. "
