Almost all of the questions received by the Youth Housing Service of the Department of Youth for the past 9 months was referred to the tenant aid, aid which is granted for two years and subsidizes about 50 percent of what rent is paid, if they meet the requirements.
In fact, of the 82 hits on the Housing Service, 76 were interested in the rent while only 6 people showed interest in buying.
64 percent of stakeholders, were younger than 30 years.
Of the 82 registered users, 63 were employed, and 14 were unemployed.
They also made use of this service 6 pensioners.
49 percent of users were of foreign origin, while 51 percent were of Spanish nationality.
Youth Housing Service of the Department of Youth, funded by the Autonomous Community of Murcia, provides information about the support available for the acquisition and rehabilitation of housing as well as for both the landlord and tenant.
The Councillor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa noted the importance of this service, "which specifically provides detailed information to interested parties on any kind of help that can be applied in relation to housing."
Masegosa encouraged "young and not so young to know the service, especially those who are considering emancipation, so they can take advantage of available assistance."
Youth Housing Service, which also has a stock of rental housing, is located on the premises of the Department of Youth, located on the first floor of the civic center "Parque Almansa" San Javier.
