The Carnival parade went on to record with 2,500 people in a historical parade (27/02/2012)

Carnival in Santiago de la Ribera broke his own record Sunday with a parade of the 50 participating carnival groups with about 2,500 people who marched before thousands of people coming from throughout the region who packed the avenue Mar Menor.

The good weather added to an edition of the Carnival which claimed its status as Regional Tourist Interest the largest gathering of public participation and its history.

The municipal council of San Javier asked the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's statement Tourist Interest Regional Carnival in Santiago de la Ribera.

The parade lasted nearly four hours with the participation of all local parades, and many arrivals from other municipalities with large contribution of Cartagena.

Mula, Sangonera, and many other regional locations also participated in this parade compare not want to miss some of the neighboring province of Alicante.
