The mayor of San Javier Martinez and Councilman John Trade and Employment, Pedro Lopez this morning visited the 24 students in the two municipal employment workshops being held in San Javier, which thanks to the work of time to implement what they learned for the benefit of the municipality.
The 12 students in the electrical workshop doing their training in municipal, checking and repairing electrical systems of public schools, while the other 12 students in the animation workshop collaborate with various councils as Culture, Youth and others, implementing activities such as children's entertainment during the days of the Fair Outlet, among many others, with great success.
The students, who were unemployed when they started the workshops, receive a monthly salary while they are forming a theoretical and practical methodology.
The Employment and Training Service that selected participants and their monitors, subsidizes these workshops that pass through its Ecuador and ending in December.
The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez sent them the thanks of the City Council for their invaluable assistance and encouraged them to continue taking this opportunity of paid training.
The mayor, Pedro Lopez reminded them that according to figures from SEF, up to 60 per cent of pupils achieved this type of job placement workshops once completed, so he encouraged them to continue.
"Our idea is, despite the difficulties and to the extent possible, continue to work with projects that may arise from the end of your training," the mayor told the students by the director of the workshops, the two monitors and a clerk were also hired to start the workshops by the SEF.
