San Javier hosts 5 courses at the University of the Sea (12/06/2012)

5 courses will host San Javier International University of the Sea to be held next June to September with a general topic related to sports, culture, environment, music and health, as announced by the Councillor for Education Catherine Perez.

The campus of the University of Murcia San Javier will be the venue for all courses except the music to be taught at the Conservatory of Music in San Javier.

The courses are open to anyone interested in the case of university students are eligible for 2.5 credits of electives for the old bachelor and 1 credit for undergraduate courses.

The price of all courses is 80 euros, until the last day of registration, and not until a month before the start of the course as announced in the beginning.

The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez said that the courses of the International University of the Sea "contribute to the promotion of our cultural and tourist attractions while symbolizing the commitment that has always made the City of San Javier for education."

Martinez gladly welcomed the announcement by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Murcia, Fernando Marin on the twinning of the University of Murcia with the University of Haifa in Israel "with which we share a strong interest in issues related to the sea" that is formalized in the next year's edition of the Sea International University in San Javier.
