Double K Theatre presents "Open your eyes" of skunk co-produced by 43 International Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance in San Javier (07/08/2012)

The company Double K Murcia Theatre opens "Open Eye" by Francisco de Rojas Zorrilla, co-produced by the 43 International Festival of Theatre, Music and Dance in San Javier under the agreement that keeps the Festival Murciaaescena for joint production of an assembly annual production companies in the Region of Murcia.

The text of Zorrilla (1607-1648) has been adapted by Sofia Eiroa and Javier Mateo, professor of management at the School of Dramatic Arts in Murcia invited by the company, which also deals with the set design and direction of the work performed by Immaculate Rufete, Manuel Menárguez, Juan Vicente Garrigós, Maria Dolores Galindo Alfredo Zamora, Mari Luz Davó, Peter Santomera and Rocio Bernal.

"Open Eye" is a fun and casual work, history of vaudeville, which speaks of love and desire in a game of jealousy and grievances, inputs and outputs, which ends in a surprising way in which none will match that applicable.

This is a comedy of manners, no moral intention, that caricature of a certain sector of society at the time, sociable, and uninhibited yet also just falling into the networks of the feelings and love much they refuse to accept .

This and other aspects of the text closer to the present time, helped also by a version with regional locations, and a popular reference in the original music of Antonio Gomez.

Double K Theatre works desdde 1997 when the union was created with artistic and Alfredo Zamora Rufete Immaculate, both with a strong history of interpretation.

It is a repertory company directed to adults and children, which is nourished by actors solvents, and often, hiring technicians and recognized long career in his productions.

Double K Theatre set out to address the classic with the intention of bringing them to the public, as they did with Lope de Vega and "quiet love" and Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing".
