Preceded by a great success in London and with much anticipation comes to San Javier on "Henry VIII" of the Madrid company Rakata, that chosen by the artistic director of The Globe Theatre, Dominic Dromgoole, to represent Spain in the Globe festival to Globe, organized under the London Olympics, which invited 37 companies from different countries to interpret a work of Shakespeare in 37 different languages.

For the Spanish of Rakata was chosen "Henry VIII" (1613), given the relationship of the text with Spain through the King's wife, Catherine of Aragon and the Spanish Court.

"Henry VIII" is a mature work of Shakespeare, historical character that addresses one of the moments from the history of England: the abandonment and his embrace of Catholicism to Lutheranism, motivated by the divorce of King and his first wife, Spanish Catherine of Aragon.

The plot comes to the time of birth of the future Queen Elizabeth I, for which Shakespeare wrote the play birthday.

The show, directed by Ernesto Arias, and dramatized by Jose Padilla, is played by Fernando Gil interpretra Henry VIII, and Elena Gonzalez in the role of Catherine of Aragon.
