Start the Junior World Championship three-cushion billiards in Santiago de la Ribera (25/10/2012)

The Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo received this morning the players and delegations from 11 countries participating today in the VIII World Championship Billiards June trialogue held in the center "Prince of Asturias" in Santiago de la Ribera From today until Saturday 27 October.

Albaladejo welcomed them and wished them luck in the opening ceremony which was attended by the vice president of World Union of Billiards, Fernando Requena, and Jean Louis Stern, representative of the European Confederation of Billiards.

The Federation president and chief Murciana Pool Championship, José María Quetglas served as host of the ceremony of presentation of the various delegations and referees who will monitor the progress of the games.

Spain participates with three players, all featured in the CAR of Los Narejos, trained by himself Quetglas: David Bosch, Sergio Aparicio and European champions, and resident of San Javier, David Zapata who now has the chance to become champion world of their municipality.

You will have to beat defending champion Kim Heang Korean also played at San Javier.

Besides Spain and Korea, involving other countries like Japan, Egypt, Turkey, France, Holland, Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia.

The public can see the games from the stands that have been set around the two tables set up in the center where the billiard play and from 10:00 until 18:30 h.

This Friday will play the same schedule, and Saturday 27 starts at 09:30 h.

The semifinals will be played at 15:30.
