The AGA honors the fallen in the cemetery of San Javier (02/11/2012)

The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez Pastor attended today, along with Lt. Col. Hernandez Melecio Quiñones, new head of the AGA studies and other military and civilian authorities, the tribute to the General Air Academy dedicates its soldiers killed in the military area of ​​the cemetery of San Javier, coinciding with the "Memorial Day for the Fatherland" celebrating today November 2, the Spanish Armed Forces.

The death this morning of a flight instructor commander in the crash of the F-5 in the vicinity of the air base in Talavera la Real (Badajoz), in which a student was injured lieutenant, was very present in the act which began with the hoisting of the flag half mast from Spain to the sound of the national anthem played by the band of the AGA and witnessed by a delegation of students of military center.

The chaplain of the AGA, Ildefonso Valcárcel had words of remembrance for deceased military "Commander Alvarez" as well as "the ensign Santamaría student" who was seriously injured in the accident, during the dirge in memory of the deceased.

Two students were charged with placing a wreath at the cross who chairs the military compound in the cemetery, at the beginning of an emotional ceremony ended with the hymn of the army.
