Councillor for Education, Catalina Perez received today at City Hall to a group of 13 students from a secondary school in Scotland that are exchange, from 7 to 12 November, with young students of English at IES Mar Menor San Javier.
The 13 students studying Spanish at the Hermitage Academy, Helensburgh, Scotland, came to San Javier accompanied by two teachers, and stay with the families of local students who returned the visit to Helensburgh in the month of March.
Catalina Perez welcomed them and invited them to discover the town and the area using the experience of linguistic exchange "that also reveals another country and culture, in this case Spain, specifically Murcia and San Javier."
Students who arrived yesterday, this morning attended two classes in high school and after his visit to City Hall, where were accompanied by the director of IES "Mar Menor" Miguel Angel Munoz, traveled by boat to La Manga.
With a busy schedule in the coming days and made several cultural tours in the area of ​​the Mar Menor and Murcia.
