The exhibition hall of the museum of San Javier hosts until 4 December the exhibition "Views of identity and consciousness" of the artist cartagenera Sitcha.
The sample contains much of his last works in which the female face is investigating bringing a different perspective to an issue that has been studied throughout history.
Rosa Ana Martos Sitcha (Cartagena, 1981), Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, atesara despite his youth, supported by a long history harvested dozens of awards over the years.
The urban landscape and especially the portrait have inspired a particular aesthetic that marks differences within contemporary figurative painting.
Sitcha has starred in several solo exhibitions since 2007 in Murcia, Madrid, Cadiz, Zaragoza, and many group exhibitions in different parts of Spain as well as in Mexico and the United States.
His work is now part of collections of several administrations, and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and Cajamurcia Collection.
The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 09:30 h.
to 14:00 h.
and 16:00 to 19:00 h.
Sundays from 10:30 h.
to 14:00 h.
Closed Mondays.
