Exposure of the Department of Environment on the legacy of fisheries and their protagonists in the town, work of photographer José Luis Villaescusa be seen until the end of the year in the lobby of the City of San Javier.
The exhibition includes dozens of photographs, taken in black and white, for Villaescusa, and is complete with a catalog in which the images are accompanied by the testimony of its characters, with memories and reflections on the past and present of a hard job as fishing.
The exhibition displayed 23 fishermen, many families whose sagas representatives are dedicated to the sea, as Perez Arenas, including the mother who was the first woman Osprey Township, the Canovillas, Zerrica, Gurullo, The Twins, The Triqui, Goyo, Los Zagales, Mariche and many others.
The exhibition also includes a video projection which was shown at the opening of the exhibition in the city of San Javier which was attended by the Councillor for the Environment, Celia Martinez, Jose Luis Villaescusa photographer, and several of the protagonists of This shows that opened last summer in Santiago de la Ribera,
The sample has passed through La Manga, El Mirador, and the Lonja de Lo Pagán, which come daily the few remaining fishermen active in Santiago de la Ribera.
After a stint in San Javier, will be displayed in Jumilla where it has been claimed.
The Department of Environment prepares new appointments both inside and outside the municipality to bring exposure to utmost aesthetic and artistic value to the historical and social.
