The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez yesterday signed a collaboration agreement between the City and Mar Menor North Red Cross, represented by its President, Fernando Carrasco, and another musician-cultural association San Javier, who signed his President Gloria Bello, in a ceremony attended by councilor José Manuel Alarte Security.
The signing of the two agreements follows along the lines of collaboration with associations and non-profit entities that help to boost the social, educational, cultural, solidarity or in any other area, the municipality, said the mayor, Juan Martinez.
Through those conventions Mar Menor North Red Cross, which will receive 5,000 euros, held training activities, in terms of aid, and prevention, special devices to assist in major events, and support infrastructure if necessary, explained Security mayor, José Manuel Alarte.
Alarte recover welcomed this agreement with Red Cross Lower North Sea which first signed in 1997 and which had not been renovated in recent years.
Its president, Fernando Carrasco thanked the municipal collaboration "gives us encouragement to continue to fulfill our role," and recalled the role of Red Cross in marine salvage.
Gloria Bello thanked also the municipal contribution to the musical-cultural association San Javier, which will be 3,000 euros, "so we can go to shape the many projects we have from the Association."
The association, which has 40 components of all ages, is committed through the agreement to further develop the knowledge and love of music and continue to participate in public events for which he claimed, in the municipality.
