The Director General of the Prevention of Violence Against Women, Youth, Legal Protection and Juvenile Reform, Veronica Lopez attended today in the city of San Javier to the establishment of the Bureau of Local Coordination Against Gender Violence that integrates 15 social and has as main objectives to improve the performances of prevention, care and assistance to victims, explained Councillor for Equality, Celia Martinez presiding officers.

The table, which is composed of representatives of the Center for Victim Services, CAVI, Local Police, Guardia Civil, councils of Youth, Social Services and Development Agency for Local Municipal Health Center of San Javier, and IES "Mar Low "and" Ruiz de Alda ", has as its main objective the improvement in early detection of cases.

Raise awareness and inform the public and to promote the coordination of agents, actions and resources, or improve protection for high risk victims are other objectives.

Among its functions, the Local Coordination Committee Against Gender Violence has to analyze situations and local data, make suggestions for improvement, promote strategies and establish criteria.
