The Socialists leave the plenary San Javier (14/03/2013)

The Municipal Socialist Group in the City of San Javier has left the House today to denounce the lack of transparency of the government team's Party in the town.

The Socialist Group complains ninguneo and lack of time (less than 24 hours) to review the documentation that will be the most important contract of the City in the whole legislature, known as "megacontrato of garbage", which is an amount seventy-eight million euros for the next fifteen years, that is, for the next four terms.

Socialist spokesman Jose Angel Noguera, the mayor has asked for a postponement to study the documents and call for a new extraordinary plenary session on Monday, which has no cost to the City Council, in the interests of transparency and respect he deserves opposition group, which, as explained Noguera, "missing required documentation and at least a few days to study it thoroughly and rigorously rule and knowledge."

It so happens that this megacontrato comes wrapped in controversy over the use of a computer with symbols of one of the companies contestants by a city official, and in fact was not awarded on a first call for something surprising: according to the Mayor, none of the five companies that attended met the requirements specification, unusual case of the most important companies in Spain to attend daily to such contests and do so in big cities across the country.

The Socialist Group, the mayor's refusal to convene a new city to discuss this issue with transparency, has left the city.
