The Mayor and the Director General of Trade, Consumption and Crafts Fair Outlet opened the V Santiago de la Ribera (28/03/2013)

The esplanade Barnuevo hosts since this morning the V Fair Outlet Santiago de la Ribera with 52 stalls, 2 of them institutional, commercial and the rest with a wide variety of products at discount prices.

From a hair salon that caters to its customers on the beach, to appliances, home furnishings, fashion, jewelery, optical, and many other products offered by this Fair was of the pioneers in the region of Murcia and last year received the visista of about 30,000 people.

The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, director and general manager of Consumer, Trade and Handicrafts, Maria Dolores Alarcón, the Fair opened this morning accompanied by the Councillor of Commerce, Pedro Lopez, the mayor pedánea Santiago de la Ribera, Julia Gallut , and the president and secretary of the merchants association "San Javier Open Centre", Isabel and Ángel Pérez Mercader.

The exhibition will open until next Sunday 31 March 10:00 to 21:00 h.

Juan Martinez stressed the importance of this collaboration, and appealed for unity among merchants of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera to make a strong partnership to continue working with the City Council.

Martinez said work effort and cost to perform this show, "which shows our support for such initiatives that we believe contribute to the maintenance and continuity of our small businesses, and the local economy in general."

The Director General of Consumption, Trade and Handicrafts, Maria Dolores Alarcón also stressed the importance of collaboration between government and traders to carry out these initiatives, and after congratulating the quality merchants Fair, which celebrated by the sea, made an invitation to visit these days.

The representative of traders, Isabel Perez stressed the need for unity between merchants and City Council, praised the quality of the infrastructure, the trade and supply of shops, both of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera, and encouraged to meet and visit the campus.
