Parade, poetry, theater, and literature to dismiss awards Book Day (30/04/2013)

The San Javier library closed the program of World Book Day last Friday with an afternoon of activity that began with the traditional parade on books and reading, which ran from the place of Spain to the library where "Carpanta" had all prepared to offer a fun show for children.

There was no lack of poetry, with the presentation of poems "See the world" by José Antonio Marin Cano, who recited his poems in a crowded room of Poets.

Finally the Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García presented awards of all competitions held on the occasion of World Book Day, together with the coordinator of libraries, Toni Diaz.

Aided by a boy discovered the proposed title this year for "A Book, a city".

Will "The Etruscan Smile" by José Luis Sampedro, lucid as a tribute to recently deceased writer and thinker.

Throughout the year, various activities will be held pooling on the book proposal in which a grandfather who looks near death, turns his tenderness in his little grandson who conveys his love for life.

Winners

At the awards ceremony, Sandra Monteverde got hers for the best microrrelto with "Sea and Mountain".

The winners in the traditional contest bookmarks, whose winning work reproduces the library each year, were in category A child of 3-5 years: 1 ° Mario Garre Escobar (1 Childhood Education Sacred Heart College), 2nd Luis Santiago Saez (Children 5 years, CEIP La Paz), second prize to Fernando Zapata (Children 4 years CEIP El Recuerdo).

In category B: Primary 6-11 years, the first prize went to Julia Olgiati Crespo (CEIP Fulgencio Ruiz), second prize to Mohamed Hamdaoui (Severo Ochoa) and second prize for Jocelyn Saldaña Aguirre (CEIP Joaquin Carrion).

In category D, the award went to Javier Pardo Martinez, the Senior Day Center of San Javier, which also had a generic prize for their participation.

Aideman the winning was the work of Theodore Canovas.
