The mayor, Juan Martinez and Utilities Councilman Jose Miguel Luengo visited this morning the roundabout to be built in Sandoval Avenue of Santiago de la Ribera to check the final result of the work, minutes before it opened to traffic , eight days ahead of schedule.
Work on the roundabout at the start of main urban road Santiago de la Ribera, involves an investment of 30,000 euros, and have been made by the company Quarto Project, San Javier, within 10 days, explained Luengo in a ceremony also attended by the mayor of the village headman, Julia Gallut, and the mayors of Commerce and Tourism Pedro López, Antonio Martinez.
The new roundabout, with which it responds to a claim neighborhood, allow turn at Sandoval Avenue, no need to leave, as well as access from the same avenue Minguez Tower Avenue.
It is an urban roundabout, small in size but surrounded by a wide lane comfortably surround allowing any type of vehicle.
The mayor, Juan Martinez said the improved urban access locality and traffic safety in this roundabout whose aesthetic, with the shield of Santiago and slogan 125th anniversary, serves to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the town held throughout all 2013.
