A lecture reviews the history of Santiago de la Ribera in its 125th Anniversary (29/05/2013)

Today starts a series of conferences organized to mark the 125th Anniversary of Santiago de la Ribera on the history of the town.

Juan Garcia Inza opens the cycle Wednesday May 29th at 20:00 pm.

in salted "Araceli Rubio" civic center "Prince of Asturias", Santiago de la Ribera, with the conference "Looking at what we are: a grateful look to those who made the history of our people, Santiago de la Ribera" .

On Friday 31 will Marcelino Sempere Domenech in charge of talking about "The Influence of Aviation in Santiago de la Ribera".

Maria Antonia Martinez will review "History and life in Santiago de la Ribera" on June 4, and day 7 closes the cycle with fishing as protagonist: "Fishing gear" is the theme that serves to review the history of the trade in the town with Francisco Lorenzo and Jose Canovas Bolarín "Canovillas" which will bring the memory of past fishing in Santiago de la Ribera.

All lectures will be held at the "Araceli Rubio" at 20:00 h.

The program celebrates the 125th anniversary these days some of the most important events such as the tribute to be provided to the General Air Academy for its vital importance in the history of the population, as well as family, Barnuevo which is at the origin the same for 125 years, represented by Antonio Barnuevo.

Coinciding with the anniversary, the City of San Javier and the General Air Academy have organized a civil Flag Jura to be held on Saturday, June 1 at 12:00 h.
