The Department of Women and Equality has launched a series of workshops on laughter therapy and social skills which are held through the Specialized Care Center for Women Victims of Violence, CAVI, San Javier.
A group of about twenty women participated this morning in the first workshop, which consisted of a laughter therapy session given by two social educators Educoya association which will deal with the rest of workshops whose main objective is to improve self-esteem and assertiveness, explained the mayor.
Celia Martinez visited the center this morning accompanied by the same psychologist, Juana Fuentes who explained that these workshops effectively complete the action developed from the center throughout the year with themes that respond to some of the most common deficiencies in women attending the CAVI.
Celia Martinez explained that the initiative came from the team responsible for the CAVI, which praised the "excellent work done".
Knowing how to say no, to limit the invasion of another practice assertive communication, and even how to positively engage a Review, are some of the resources that will work in these workshops, which arise in a fun and very dynamic, explained educators responsible for developing the workshops over the next three Thursday after the first session today who have qualified as a success and has brought "laughter in all participants."
