Over fifty people ensure safety and rescue beaches during the summer (01/07/2013)

The Security council, Jose Manuel Alarte received on the esplanade Barnuevo of Santiago de la Ribera to the entire team that this summer, until September 30, will address the protection and rescue service on the beaches of the municipality, which with emergencies adds about fifty people.

La Manga del Mar Menor have 2 positions on the beaches of Tabal Bank, Pedrucho, Arenal, and Ensenada del Esparto, and 1 place on the beaches of Estacio, and Veneciola.

Santiago de la Ribera have 2 positions on the beach Columbus and 1 in Castillicos and Barnuevo, plus proximity chairs covering distances between posts.

Three coordinators will take care, every day, to monitor, guide and assist the entire device on beaches.

Alarte La Manga noted that the Municipal Emergency Services has a Basic Life Support ambulance, which will be located at kilometer 7 by 2 technicians of health emergencies.
