A group of Senior Center of San Javier participated today along with local school children on a journey of intergenerational summer has been marked by the focus of the school for this year, the world of the Circus, at school "Peace" in San Javier
The CEO of Seniors, Enrique Perez, the councilors of Culture, Inmaculada García, and Education, Catherine Perez, and the director of the Senior Center San Javier, Emilia Martinez attended the presentation and start the day in which the older children narrated his childhood memories of the circus world and repassed mythical names of clowns, circus or songs on TV, who have sung together.
The day has elapsed with other activities like small talk about safe beaches for children, offered them a partner Senior Center, Civil Protection volunteers.
They have also shared a recycling workshop and crafts, and experiences on "my favorite toy", after lunch in the morning.
Both Senior CEO, Enrique Perez, as the councilors of the City of San Javier, Catalina Perez and Inmaculada García highlighted the profitability of this type of intergenerational activity, common in the Senior Center program of San Javier, both the grandparents as well as children, for the success of the interaction between them, and what each other are provided.
