The City remains committed to training for job search (24/09/2013)

Local Development Agency 44 has managed to help people find a job so far this year, nearly double that in 2012 that ended with 27 occupations achieved through the use of ACTIVE service.

This was announced today by the Councillor for Commerce and Employment, Pedro Lopez, who noted that unemployment has fallen in San Javier passing of 3,013 unemployed in 2011 to 2,700 today.

Pedro Lopez stressed the need to continue working to help those people who have not found a job yet and reiterated the commitment of the City of San Javier for training.

The mayor of Trade and Employment today made the remarks during the presentation of the training of the ACTIVE in the coming months by the Local Development municipal technician, Juan de Dios Gonzalez, in the municipality of San Javier.

Among the courses offered, which are free for the unemployed, there are some novel as the realization of mobile specific websites, in which students conduct a mobile website for a local business.

Also there will be a SME management course for entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs not vocational but both those contemplating the company as a new opportunity, in order to help them launch a business project.

The program includes two communication courses, one practical to help unemployed people to function in a job interview and so forth, and another applied to improving skills in selling.

No lack the basic English course for customer service, nor the basic computer skills to unemployed without knowledge or practice to use the computer as a tool for job search.

It also repeats the collector and manipulator of horticulture that is done signing contracts with Proexport.

Another course, which deals with half-advanced accounting, will affect the study of VAT, for wanting to improve their administrative skills taxation, since it has been detected that one of the requirements asked for this kind of posts in the labor market, said Juan de Dios Gonzalez.

In this lies one of the courses that will be addressed in the new legislation on labor.

Courses range from 12-60 hours and will be held between San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera in the months of October and November.
