The unions demanded guaranteed jobs at the airport of San Javier (23/10/2013)

This morning was held a meeting of workers in the San Javier Airport, convened by the CCOO, UGT and USO, which was attended by the General Secretaries of the three unions, Daniel Bueno, Antonio Jimenez and Jose Saez, respectively.

At that meeting 150 workers participated in the various contracts and tenders operating companies in the Airport and AENA.

The assembly has evaluated the existing doubts about the viability of Corvera Airport, as well as uncertainty about the future employment of more than 500 people whose jobs depend on the activity of the San Javier Airport.

The General Secretaries of the unions have collected the sensitivity of the attendees, who are committed to the maintenance of the San Javier Airport, as a cost-effective infrastructure economically and socially, to the attempted opening of Corvera International Airport, about which there is a nebula in terms of time and procedure for opening, which contributed nebula in the Senate yesterday the Minister of Development, Ana Pastor, who explained the feasibility of this infrastructure and its management model.
