Civil Defence Lifeboat San Javier rescued a horse that swam aimlessly in the Mar Menor (28/10/2013)

Rescuing a horse that is exhausted to swim aimlessly around the Mar Menor is unusual, but can happen, and in fact happened this weekend.

For the first time in the history of the boat "Albufera" Maritime Rescue Service of Civil Protection in San Javier faced, on Saturday, to the rescue of a horse for unknown reasons he got rid of his rider when they were in camping near the Mar Menor.
