Councillor for Education, Cati Perez received this morning at City Hall to a group of 16 Scottish students are exchange with students from IES Mar Menor, Santiago de la Ribera.
Students aged 14 and 15 years, studying Spanish in high school "Hermitage Academy" in Helensburgh, Scotland, facility with which the IES Mar Menor is an exchange program that celebrates its second edition.
Scottish students who arrived on Friday, have spent the weekend with the families of Spanish students participating in the exchange.
This morning they attended school with peers and upon receipt at City Hall, took the ferry to La Manga.
Before returning next Thursday, visit Cartagena and Murcia.
Four of the students and participated last year in this exchange that both schools plan to maintain over time.
Spanish Students returned the visit with a stay of six days in Helensburgh in March 2014.
The students were accompanied by two teachers of Spanish who travel with them, and the director of IES Mar Menor, Miguel Angel Muñoz Sarrión.
