The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez and the president of the theater group San Javier, Leonor Benitez this morning signed the renewal of a collaboration agreement between the municipality and the local theater group will receive $ 3,000 as a contribution to the cultural activity develops in the town with a commitment to continue to participate in local activities and events, said the Mayor.
The president and director of Theatre Group San Javier, Leonor Benitez thanked the support received "especially in these difficult economic times," and said the group continues with the same desire to continue working in theater in San Javier as it has done 25 years.
The Mayor said that the agreements signed during the year with local associations and institutions "represent a major effort, however, worth it for the obtained social performance as its activity enrich and enliven the town of San Javier ".
Juan Martinez said the agreement with the Group Theatre San Javier is the latest in a long series of agreements signed and municipal aid throughout the year in different areas such as social Caritas San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera, Red Cross , Aidemar, AFEM, Hope Phone, Housewives, and COAG-IR.
On the cultural agreements with the Association of Friends of Bethlehem, choral St. James and Stella Maris Björk, Commission of Carnival in Santiago de la Ribera, San Javier and Musical Association also signed.
On Youth, support for the Local Youth Council is intended.
Also in education several aid was allocated to schools and associations of parents of students for extracurricular activities, aid in Childhood Education, mobility aids, besides the agreement with the University of Murcia for conducting courses at the University of Mar in the town.
In sport, but through the PDM, also helped sports clubs.
