The Director General of Pensions, Valuation and Inclusion Programs Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS), Miguel Angel Miralles, today presented diplomas Workshop 'cobbler' at twelve participants thereof, developed by the Association San Javier Abraham Project in collaboration with the local council.
During this event, Miralles was accompanied by the Mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, the Councillor for Social Services and Consumer Affairs of the City Council, Francisca Naranjo, and the secretary of the Abraham Project Association, José María Chumillas.
In total, 12 people have been that after 40 hours of training, taught in the town of San Javier, have acquired the core competencies and skills needed to perform the repair of clothing and so have the opportunity to enter the labor market.
The CEO praised the various training activities carried out and planned by the Abraham Project Partnership, which allow people at risk of social exclusion to acquire the necessary training to find a job.
Miralles was supported by the regional government for this initiative as well as other similar wishing to continue promoting personal, basic or occupational promotion quines are in a disadvantaged position to enable their socio-professional integration.
The Abraham Project, a non-profit association emerged in the region in 1989 and since then its main purpose is to provide care and counseling to people excluded or at risk of exclusion.
To this end, social and employment programs care, housing, education, leisure and recreation, awareness and development cooperation or voluntary, including running.
It is also responsible for the management of non-hazardous waste such as textiles, footwear and toys.
