San Javier exercised today host the presentation of the national circuit TriWhite Cup Triathlon at the booth of the Region of Murcia in the International Tourism Fair in Madrid, FITUR.
Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo and the mayor of Tourism, Antonio Martínez Turrets acted as hosts along with representatives of the organization in an act that had the support of the head of the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, Enrique Ujaldón well representatives of other branches of the test.
San Javier will host the first stage of the national circuit, during the weekend of 12 and 13 April.
She then continues by Alicante (May), Xábia (June), Pilar de la Horadada (June), Carboneras (September) and Benidorm which will end in October.
The TriWhite Cup offers different levels of difficulty to accommodate from professional, amateur, or novice triathletes.
Alongside the purely sporting aspect, the TriWhite Cup offers other attractions for both participants and family with leisure activities and free time, and the possibility of touring the various sites.

Carlos Albaladejo highlighted the attractiveness of this test both in sporting and tourism as it has the added value of what each site has to offer, including beaches, gastronomy, traditions or festivals among other attractions, as is the case San Javier already successfully participated in the first edition.
The mayors of Tourism and Sport agreed also emphasize the importance of presenting a sporting event at FITUR, establishing a relationship between sport and tourism in the town of San Javier and experimenting we promoting long by organizing and hosting major events, regional, national and international throughout the year.
