Councillor for Culture, Inmaculada García and pedánea mayor of El Mirador, Isabel Carrillo yesterday inaugurated the Reading Room of El Mirador, with 12 reading places, area 2 computers and wifi.
Inmaculada García reported that users will find reference books in all academic levels, children's literature, literary news and press.
In addition to free Wi-Fi zone, there are two computers for users to query and perform work.
To several members of the corporation and neighbors who attended the event, the mayor of Culture said that "this is a first step," and encouraged residents to make use of this new resource that will serve users, adapting supply the needs that may be detected in the day.
Inmaculada Garcia explained that the creation of this reading room at El Mirador was a compromise with its council which also responds to a neighborhood demand.
The Reading Room, under the Municipal Library of San Javier, is located in the civic center of El Mirador, and open daily from Monday to Friday from 16:00 h.
