The Governing Council has approved an investment of 730,116 euros from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy for the reservation and occupation of 28 residential care places for people with intellectual disabilities in the municipality of San Javier.

These places, to be procured for the years 2014 and 2015 with the Pro-Disabled Foundation of the National Police (Fundamiep), are intended to seniors suffering from intellectual disability, in order to provide comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

This entity manages a home for people with disabilities in Santiago de la Ribera (San Javier) in order to enforce the right of citizens to enjoy the services as required and basic levels of social welfare.
