Imagine 2014 refilled Art San Javier (10/04/2014)

The sample of young art Imagine 2014, organized by the Youth Council of the City of San Javier refilled artistic interventions of different scenarios of San Javier from 23 to 27 April, with 20 participating groups and several individual artists.

Painting, photography, music, sculpture, audiovisual works, forums, round tables, and performance, have no place in this festival which meets eleven years, and was presented this morning by the mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez, the Councillor for Youth, Estíbaliz Masegosa and Alberto Garcia addresses the produccción works.

Imagine 2014 is multiplied over five days in several scenarios, outdoors, as the square of Spain, Master Square Park Almansa, Barnuevo plaza, Plaza de la Cruz, and closed as the Municipal Museum, City of San Javier, and building Multipurpose.

Estíbaliz Masegosa explained that the festival is divided into three sections, one dedicated to Guest Artists, which will feature Jesus Segura, artist and professor at the UMU, Juan Alvarez and Jorge G. cartoonists and illustrator and artist Cristina Franco Roda .

Another section, "Interventions" will feature an enigmatic "Book Burning" in the library of San Javier on Friday, April 25.

We have also included a screening and discussion forum on the documentary "Three strings" by Rafael Sánchez;

a roundtable on "Temporality, ownership and mount the work of Jesus Segura", with several speakers from the UMU, and "Action explosion of color," Ayeklaun company, which aims to attract younger.

The "Permanent" section lists the majority of works in the different scenarios, with artists such as Raúl Estal, Lucia de Luca, Christopher Hernandez Barbero, Catarina Diedrich, Eva Poyato and Luz Martinez, among others.

Also participating as collective Meva, 4Art, the group of high school Arts IES "Ruiz de Alda," and the collective Apexis of mentally ill persons, Cartagena.

The mayor of San Javier, Juan Martínez emphasized the importance of this initiative which aims to encourage the participation of young people in the art by providing different scenarios that connection with citizens is enhanced.

The Mayor and the Councillor for Youth agreed to invite the public to be amazed by the different artistic projects, different both in its execution and posts during the days of this new edition of Imagine, which seeks greater involvement of both artists as public, said Alberto García responsible for the production of selected works.
