The beach of Santiago de la Ribera host from 27 to 29 June the Spain Championship Beach Volleyball Schoolboy, Cadet category, bringing together more than a hundred athletes between 16 and 17, from 16 autonomous communities and of the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla.
Councillor for Sports, Carlos Albaladejo, Jose Valera, president of the Murcia Volleyball Federation, Eduardo Segarra, Chief Sports Service of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, Francisco Durán, the Sports Council, presented this morning in the city of San Javier, the League will face regional teams to 16 male and 18 female.
Participating athletes are veterans despite their youth and carrying many contested championships ahead President of the Murcia Federation, Jose Valera who recalled the importance of this Championship that have passed all great athletes when volleyball, since it the base of the sport.
The playing fields will be installed on the beach near the yacht club of Santiago de la Ribera, in a busy area, along the promenade.
The competition will start at 09:00 on Saturday, June 28 and runs until 20:00 pm.
with a break between 14:00 and 16:00 h.
On Sunday June 29 the final will be played from 09:00 to 14:00 h.
The mayor of Sports, Carlos Albaladejo announced that for the first time be made available in streaming manner with any device connected to the Internet can be serguir competition.
Albaladejo, was pleased to host this Championship in San Javie and thanked the confidence of the region and the Sports Council.
Francisco Durán, the Sports Council, said that since 2005 when he decided to compete for regional teams have held 19 championships in Spain in the Region of Murcia, of which 7 have occurred in San Javier.
