Community and City Council signed an agreement for young graduates of the municipality can add experience and practices in local companies (16/06/2014)

And 90,000 euros for job creation aimed at disabled

The City of San Javier and counseling Presidency and Employment sign a cooperation agreement to facilitate labor practices of young university graduates or municipality level under 26 local companies to adhere to this program.

The objective of this initiative is to provide practical training and a chance to accumulate experience in those fields that have formed youth improve their chances of finding a job.

The announcement of the agreement was made today by the Minister of Presidency and Employment, José Gabriel Ruiz and Mayor of San Javier, Juan Martinez in the city of San Javier.

The Minister, José Gabriel Ruiz highlighted the success of this initiative that 3 in 10 young people who perform these placements are newly hired by them.

The Mayor and the Minister today held a meeting in the city of San Javier in which participated also the CEO of Public Administration, José Antonio Blasco and various members of the government team.

In meeting with the media after the meeting the Minister of Presidency and Employment also announced the grant to be approved next Governing Council for a total of 92,000 for the restoration of the bridge known as Laughter saves Gola Puddle in the north of La Manga del Mar Menor.

The works will involve the resurfacing, improving pedestrian safety, new exterior lighting, and removal of architectural barriers, among other things, will have a total cost of 134,499 euros, funded 70 percent by the Autonomous Region of Murcia and 30 percent by the City of San Javier.

After the meeting at City Hall visited the Special Employment Centre in San Javier Aideman which employs over 100 people with disabilities representing 10 percent of total 1000 persons with disabilities who have gotten a job at 39 existing special employment centers in the region, said Jose Ruiz Gabriel who announced that his department, which subsidizes Aidemar Employment Center, allocated 90,000 euros which increase jobs for disabled people in San Javier.

After visiting the intalaciones Aideman where they were greeted by director Francisco Garcia, visited one of the municipal gardens whose maintenance awarded the City of San Javier to Aidemar, which through its Special Employment Centre, shape and employs its users, with excellent results in the parks allocated explained Mayor who announced the upcoming release of a premises located in the municipal district of Castejón in San Javier to the new location of the Job Centre Aidemar.
